We took a walk through the Munsinger Gardens after church last week. Our intention was to catch shots of the monarch butterflies, as they were currently in the area en route to… wherever monarchs migrate. I was also able to catch a few shots of the lovely flowers, leaves, bumblebees, and other beauties of God’s creation.
The above bumblebee picture has got to be my absolute favorite from the whole day!
This other bumblebee (below) had to have been the BIGGEST bumblebee I have ever seen! Slightly bigger than a quarter… if he’d been squashed out in a round shape….
Above, right: The Flower, the Bee, and the Fountain…. Sounds like a title from the book of Revelation or the Chronicles of Narnia!
Above is another favorite. The Maple leaves were just gorgeous!
I thought the picture of the leaves on the picnic table would make an especially good metal plate printout if I had a Bible verse inscribed on the left side. Or perhaps this…
For the beauty of the earth,
For the glory of the skies,
For the love which from our birth
Over and around us lies,
Lord of all to Thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.
These photos were breathtaking! I especially love paths winding through autumn trees, which are a rare sighting where I live. Gorgeous, thanks for sharing!
